    Communitas has been helping individuals and families with developmental disabilities live work and play in and around our communities since 1954.

    Communitas promotes compassion, equality, respect and community inclusion. We offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities, including assisting with bowling nights, arts & crafts, dances, theatre, sports and much more. Let’s us know what your interests are and we will find the perfect opportunity for you, one that will make a real and lasting contribution to the people you meet!

    Individual Opportunities

    • Recreation programs, such as bowling, craft night, boot camp, walking club
    • Group Home support, such as raking leaves or shoveling snow
    • Day Program support, such as special interest presentations
    • Reception, such as phones and general, light office work
    • Create your own! Let us know what you’d like to do

    Group or Corporate Opportunities

    • Painting group home
    • Planting gardens or beautification
