    Overview

Van Cortlandt Park Alliance, an independent community based organization, actively promotes the conservation and improvement of Van Cortlandt Park through environmental education and restoration and enhancement of the Park, its forests and trails. Van Cortlandt Park Alliance works with 1,000+ volunteers a year to complete community stewardship projects in the Natural Areas and in the Educational Garden of the 1,146 acres of Van Cortlandt Park.

There are a number of ways to get involved, including trail work, forest research, litter removal, compost maintenance, special events, and more!
