    Overview

The mission of Veggielution is to connect people from diverse backgrounds outdoors through food and farming to build community in East San José. Our urban farm is the heart of our efforts, supplying fresh and affordable produce for families in the South Bay that need it most.

Volunteer at the farm! We may ask for help on planting, weeding, transplanting, and other basic clean up tasks. Anyone is welcome to farm with us, you don’t need any prior experience, our skilled farm crew and seasoned community members are great teachers.

Volunteers can also help with the farm stand, environmental education, SoFA Pocket Park demonstration garden, and more! Visit the website to sign up.

Please note: Volunteers must be aged 13 or older to volunteer in the farm fields and boxing. Middle and High School students, ages 13 to 17, MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian/chaperone.
